Mr. Timothy R. Aragon serves as a Partner and Head of the Corporate Group in the Denver office of Hogan Lovells US LLP. Mr. Aragon has extensive experience in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, corporate and securities law matters. He represents clients in all aspects of acquisitions, dispositions, mergers, going-private transactions, leveraged buy-outs, tender offers, reorganizations, joint ventures, and acquisition financings. In addition, he counsels public and private companies in all aspects of their business, including compliance with reporting obligations under federal securities laws and stock exchange rules and general corporate governance matters. His merger and acquisition experience includes the representation of both buyers and sellers, and ranges from the sale and acquisition of medical device and healthcare companies to professional sports franchises to maritime companies. Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Mr. Aragon was an associate in the New York office of Skadden Arps. There he worked in the mergers and acquisitions and corporate restructuring departments, representing both public and private companies in a variety of complex transactions and restructurings. Mr. Aragon is the Chair-Elect of the Board of Directors of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metro Denver and also sits on the Board of Directors of the Community College of Denver Foundation. Mr. Aragon obtained his J.D. from New York University School of Law in 2001 and his A.B., cum laude from Harvard College in 1997.
